We never want money to be a barrier for anyone to begin dreaming. Our free consultation is a 30-minute meeting on site, where we can:
Explore your vision and goals for a treehouse
Look at the proposed site to asses the feasibility of the project (analyzing site conditions, tree health, etc.)
Discuss any potential limitations that could affect the design and construction (budget constraints, HOA restrictions, permiting requirements, etc.)
Next is a custom design and project estimate.

If you would like to proceed, we require a $250 deposit for us to draft a design and put together a project estimate. This will include:
A hand-drawn sketch of the design plans
An itemized list of materials
An estimate on labor hours
Any further site assessment or planning as needed (subcontracting with an arborist, any required permits, etc.)
Your deposit will go towards the total project cost, and it also secures you a place on the calendar.
Then, we sign a contract and schedule for construction!

Once all the project details are nailed down, we will sign a contract agreement detailing payment in exchange for our labor, and a liability waiver (this is in order to create clear expectations for everyone). Then, we will finalize the construction schedule and begin ordering materials.

Due no later than 7 days before construction is scheduled to begin. This allows us to cover the cost of materials and delivery.
25% of estimate once structural framing is complete

Securing the structure to the tree and getting the framing in place is the most challenging aspect of the build. Once that is complete we will request this second payment.

Upon the completion of the project we will schedule a final walkthrough. This will allow you to ask any questions and for us to ensure your satisfaction with the project. Any final touch-ups can be requested at this point. Payment for the remainder of the project cost will be due no later than 7 days from the date of the final walkthrough.

Because of the custom nature of our work, the design process and construction process offer many opportunities for collaboration. There may be contingencies that arise after construction begins, and we are commited to maintaining clear communication in the case that any adjustments to the project need to be made (ie, schedule changes, unforeseen site challenges, design tweaks, etc.).
